Default FORMULA HELP:

I will give you an example to best ask my question
I have a product that has a cost of 829.78 and i need to mark that up a
certain percentage. The way i do it on the calculator is i would do 829.78
Divided by .93 for 7 percent. For example in this calculation it would give
me 892.24. I would like a formula to automatically calculate at that rate in
the sheet. If you could help me out that would be greatly appreciated. The
unit prices are in Collumn E. Thanks for you help in this.

Default FORMULA HELP:

I'm not clear on what you're asking, but if you're asking how to increase
829.78 by 7%, then =829.78*1.07 will give you the answer.

Easy enough.
in cell F2
=E2*1.07
and copy that down the column.

Not sure I get you need but try this:
=E1/0.93
if you need the rate from another cell that is a little different and you'll
have to tell how it is in the cell e.g 7 or .07 or 7%
