Hello,

I have a spreadsheet that my boss received from a colleague that was
created by a 3rd party vendor who is no longer in business. It is a
complex spreadsheet with many macros and lots of data. He has asked me
to update the data, but I cannot get to it because the tab is password
protected and the cells are hidden.

Any advice? I sincerely appreciate your help.

Also, we may be interested in finding a contractor to assist. Does
anyone know of any reputable companies that do such work?

To remove the internal passwords see

If the workbook contains code that is protected then your boss is going to
have to open the corporate purse to buy something like passware.
