can a sheet be locked, with exception of some cells in it
Hi !
I'd like to lock a sheet (and also the formulas in it) but leave a couple of cells to be written over, is it possible in excel |

can a sheet be locked, with exception of some cells in it
Select the entire page, right click and select format cells then protection,
put a check in the locked box. Next select the cells you want them to be able to change and follow the same procedure but uncheck the locked box. Next password protect the sheet and make the appropriate selections based on what you want the user to be able to do e.g. insert filters, select protected boxes. -- -- -John Please rate when your question is answered to help us and others know what is helpful.
