Default Data Validation help please

My workbook has many worksheets and I use data validation of lists
frequently. Somehow the data validation got turned off for one sheet - no
matter what I do, I can't seen to get it to work on that sheet. Help!

Recollect a recent posting by Bob Phillips to try "Open and Repair" in
XL2003. Click File Open, navigate to folder, select the file, then click
the arrow dropdown on the right of the "Open" button choose "Open and
Repair". Good luck !
