Default any link or formula to count cells with same color

To anyone helpful,
i have been trapped by a long formulation in order to list down series of
numbers. Yet due to conditional formatting with If(or conditions, the cells
has been provided with colors. My boss like me to count all the green ones
and the red ones in a single fire.

Please help me to count this long list of varying colored cells. My boss had
made an if formula on all the cells and he can instantly, change all the
colors in a single stroke.

anybody, please just try one shot'
happy holidays

For me, its really a head scratching day, Gary''s Student Sir,
I do paste UDF.

Now, here is my real scenario, in a built-in worksheet of others.
in the Conditional format No. 1 for the 81 cells : Colored "Lime" index 43.
formula is (in the last cell CH2) =OR(WEEKDAY(CH2)=1,CH2=holidays)

=CountOfCF(f2:ch2,1) :result is 81
Yet, the visual count of the cells with color lime = 8 only

When i test the formula by deleting in conditional format in one cell CH2
=CountOfCF(f2:ch2,1) :result becomes 80
Yet, the visual count of the cells with color lime = 8 only

here is the formula in the cell
for your info, in the cell the built-in formula is:
=IF(OR(end_date<=MIN($AT2:CG2),jumpdays<0),"",CG2+ 1)

I hope I will not loose my hair with my painstaking job, my boss may screw
me up if i cannot finish counting the colors before new year.

may you have a happy holidays, please

thanks a lot for the UDF author and to you Gary''s Student

My boss allowed me to change his conditional formatting into a simple "cell
value is" with some helper columns and rows, after some debate, yet we won
for this case, the currently availed UDF ColorOfCf is magnificent....

I had solve together with the forum, this hair loosing problem from my pushy
boss.
yet 2 more are still unsolved and they are discussed on my other post. Maybe
tomorrow but not next year, if i am still working here.

more power
