Default I want Excel to regard emply cells as zero and display it

on a selected area in the worksheet.

Select your range then go to menu Data Filter AutoFilter Blanks enter
all 0

Another method..........

Select the range.

F5SpecialBlanksOK

Type 0 in active cell then hit CTRL + ENTER
