i want to make sure that the user selects a drop down box and changes it from
the default. So the box shows Select Here, and when the drop down list is selected they can pick Yes or No. If they don't pick yes or No i want to stop them printing or have a message come up or something to try and ensure they do it. |

You could use conditional formatting to colour key cells black until the
selection is made. It wouldn't prevent users from printing, but they would have an incentive to make the selection. Have a Go wrote: i want to make sure that the user selects a drop down box and changes it from the default.
