Default Gridlines on Excel Spreadsheet

Hi

Border:
Mark the area and then choose either from borders in format-toolbar or
Format - cells - borders

Gridlines:

Tools - options - View, in this dialog uncheck Gridlines.

Default Gridlines on Excel Spreadsheet

Turning off gridlines from ToolsOptions turns them off on the entire sheet.

If you just want the area inside the bordered range to have no gridlines, format
the cells as White, not No Color which is the default.
