Function for Deleting Data?
I posted a question last week on how I could smooth a line graph in Excel
2000. What was suggested was to do a moving average of my my data. Heres what I would like to do. I'm creating an average of every five rows. I copied and pasted the function throughout the entire database (2513 records) in a new column. I do not need all the averages in the new column, just every fifth record. I could go through and manually remove the records but I have more databases to repeat this process and time is something I do not have. Is there a function, prior to or after the averaging, that I can run that would eliminate/cut the data I do not need? Below is an image of what I am working on. http://img167.imageshack.us/img167/9...ldeletepl9.jpg Thank you. |

Function for Deleting Data?
Nevermind. I went through one column for 2001 manually, then copied the
function of one section (with the blanks) for the 2005 column. After that I just filtered the blanks out and created my graph. |
