Default Export from OL to Excel with 2 line addresses question

Outlook 2003/Win XP

Wasn't sure if this should be posted in OL forum or Excel forum....sorry if
I am in the wrong one but....

I am having this exact same problem as the person below who posted in
November and there were no responses to their problem ...can anyone help
please? Export from
OL to Excel as comma separated (csv) file. It puts the square box between
the street address which is actually the 1st line address in OL and the PO
Box
number which is on the 2nd line of address in OL.

I have tried all options in Data/Text to Columns and I can't get it to find
whatever that return symbol (square box) is and move the 2nd line of address
(i.e.; PO Box #)to the cell to the right of it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Or is there another way to export from OL to Excel so that it will separate
the 1st line of address from the 2nd line into separate cells?

Thanks in advance..
Judy

When I export to Excel my contacts, OL is taking all lines of my address
field (not the city, but the address) and sending as one cell, with a
character return in the cell. I'd prefer to have each line come out as a
single cell. Any way to do that?

Regards.
