Default Area Lookup from Radial button

Hi

Trying to do a search facility on a page that has data relating to
areas e.g

Area Name
East Mr Smith
West Mr Jones
East Miss White
West Mr Green
West Mr Blue

What I want to achieve is to select via radial button, the area i.e.
West and then for that to display only the names that relate to West
and so on.

Anybody help?

Thanks

Select all the data; use Data | Filter | Auto Filter
Now the dropdown arrows let you make any selection needed

How about an alternative that's built into excel.

Select your range
data|filter|autofilter

Now you can use the dropdown arrow on the Area header cell to choose the area
that you want. The other rows will be hidden.

And you can see everything by:
data|filter|show all

And if you apply the filter to all your columns, you'll be able to see all the
East areas that Ms. Jones worked on.

Hi

Thanks for those suggestions but I was kinda wanting to avoid a filter
and have a clean page with a search facility.

Thanks

Maybe you can learn about Data|Filter|Advanced filter and a criteria range.
