Default Column headings

I just opened up an excel file and am surprised to see that my columns
now have number headings rather than letter headings. Has anyone else
experienced this? If so, how did you rectify it? Please advise!!!

Default Column headings

Tools - Options - General Tab - R1C1 Reference Style

Make sure it's unchecked.
