Hi Danny Mac..........
You say clearly that A3 is a quantity, but do not so indicate for C3. If C3 is TEXT, then this formula in D3 may be of use......... =REPT(C3,A3) hth Vaya con Dios, Chuck, CABGx3 "Danny Mac" wrote: How do i get a3 (a quantity) to multiply c3 to total in d3? |

Formula
If you are saying that you want D3 to contain the result of A3 multiplied by
C3, then in D3 insert the formula =A3*C3. -- David Biddulph "Danny Mac" wrote in message ... How do i get a3 (a quantity) to multiply c3 to total in d3? |
