What's your formula look like?
Does your table_array consist of more than a single column? If the column_index_number exceeds the total number of columns in the table_array you'll get a #REF! error. Biff "jay" wrote in message ... I am using VLOOKUP - if i set the col_index_num to 1, it shows me the value it has found, but when i try to increase the number to pull an adjacent column, I get a #REF! The data in the adjacent columns is text any ideas? I searched but couldn't find anything. thanks jay |
