Hi,

I am running Office 2003 Pro under XP Pro with 1GB RAM.

I have a rather large spreadsheet with 1 row per day and columns out to AO. I
have comments in about 20% of the cells. A funny has just showed up with the
comments - some, but not all, of the comments have lost their background colour
and border so that the cells beneath are also seen.

If I edit the comment the borders show as a series of short lines at 45 degrees,
however, if I select to adjust the border then the borders show up as a solid
line

I can still read the comments with some difficulty but I would like to fix the
problem if possible.

Any suggestions?

I checked the spreadsheet out again this morning after rebooting the PC and all
comments seem to be ok again.

The only thing I can think of that may have caused this problem to occur is that
I also had open another spreadsheet with about 5,000 rows of data and helper
columns set up down to 10,000 rows when I first noticed the problem occurring.

Don't you just love it when the problem goes away and you don't know why?
