Default Can I email my colleagues automatically when i update a workbook?

Hi,
I want to automatically email my colleagues at the end of the day if i have
updated a certain Excel workbook that day. Is this possible? I have all my
contacts in Outlook and I've got a contacts database in Access.
Any thoughts would be a great help.
