Default Name items in Pivot Tables?

I have a pivot table based on multiple data sources (12 months of the year).
The page field list shows as Item1, Item2 etc which I (eventually) figured
out is the ranges in alphabetical order. I'd like these to show as Jan, Feb
etc - is there a way? I tried naming the ranges but no luck... , seems such
an obvious thing to want to do!! Any help much appreciated

You should be able to drag the page field to the Row area, where the
items will appear in cells.
Then, type over the existing items names, to change them.

Thanks Debra - that works great, quite tricky to figure out which item is
which month as there seems no logic to it ie if my first range was January I
expected that would be Item 1, did not seem to be alphabetical either which
is quite odd. But once it's set it works so many thanks.

You're welcome, and thanks for letting me know that you got it to work.

When you're creating the pivot table from multiple consolidation ranges,
you can opt to create your own pages. Then name the items based on the
ranges, as shown in the large picture he

Thanks - I'll try that although the limitation of 4 pages may be a problem to
me
