Default Excel still changes numbers to date

Hi,
i have this problem, when Iam copying numbers (like 5.6) from web page and
will paste it to excel, then excel will change this number to date format (in
this case 5.6.2006). I can change just manually. But Iam working with a lot
of numbers and its not best way. Can someone help me how to disable this
automatic changing please???

One way is to format destination cells as text before importing data.
