Default pulling data from one file to another automatically

I have three different files that are used by three different people. The
template is the same but the data is different for each person. The date
from these three files are needed to produce the final product.

example: the finished product would be the work day's sales total. The
template records sales for each hour in a 24hr period daily. person one
would enter sales each hour from 8-3, person 2 enters 4-11 and person 3
enters 11p-7a.

although the template accommadates each hour in the 24hr period. each person
reports and is responsible for their 8 hour time slot only.

I need to create 2 different files. One to extract data from shift 1 and
allow shift 2 to add its numbers, and a second file to extract data from
shift 1 and 2 and allow shift 3 to add its data. ( Each person prints the
totals and the end of their shift and deletes the data from the template,
starting new each day.) I this possible in Excel 2003?
