Default Trace dependants/precedents from another worksheet

How do I trace dependants/precedents that come from another worksheet? When
the dotted arrow comes up pointing to the little spreadsheet icon, I can't
click on the icon to see what it's referring to!

If you were to double-click on the dotted arrow, that'll bring up a "Go To"
dialog to navigate to either the precedent(s) / dependent(s)

Great, thanks Max!

Not especially obvious if you ask me, but at least it works.

Hi Max,

Is there a way to do this without the double click (i.e. use a keystroke
instead of double clicking)?

Thanks,

Chaim

For some reason I can't see the entire thread ... just this post.

Anyway, no need to click on the Menu Bar.

Just select the cell of interest, and this will not only jump to other
sheets, but will also even open closed workbooks!

This shortcut only takes you to where the formula for the cell is
referencing. However, if the cell is being used on a separate worksheet
(i.e. there is a dependent not on the formula bar) the only way to get to it
seems to be with bringing up the trace precedents/dependents and then
clicking on the worksheet icon.

I am wondering if there is a keystroke that can be used instead of double
clicking on the worksheet icon when this is the case.

Thank you for the insight though. If anyone else knows the anwers to this
it would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Chaim
