Default Fill series Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4

I am attempting to fill a series from A1-R1. I have not noticed it until
today but when I pull this series down past A4-R4, the "Q" series stars
duplicating the Q1-Q$ and will not follow the same series format...how can I
fix this?

Cody,

Replace the second Q1 with Q5, then select the two cells with Q4 / Q5, and drag the fill handle
down.

The asnwer definelty makes it easier to deal with the problem, but is there a
way to completely resolve the problem. Is there a setting that can be changed
to keep the Qs replicating in the same manner as all the other letter/number
combinations on the fill cells.

Cody,

Sorry, but I don't know of any way to disable this feature.
