I have placed a "check box" into an Excel form, but it always comes up for
editing / formatting instead of placing a check into it. How do I resolve this issue. |

Hi Mike, thanks for that. I have exited design mode but I still cant get it
to apply a check in there. It selects it as though to edit it. I have it in a cell that is not protected and wish for others to click it to place a check in there to show they have completed a required task. Any ideas? Thanks "Mike Rogers" wrote: Brit Sounds likw you are still in "Design Mode" Go to to "view" "toolbars" "control toolbox" and "exit design mode". Tell me how you placed your checkbox, was it from the "forms" tool bar or the "control tool box" toolbar? I just used both and from the "control toolbox" I had to NOT be in design mode and from the "forms" it did not matter, both worked as they should have. How many of these check boxes do you need and are they all in one column? "Brit" wrote: Hi Mike, thanks for that. I have exited design mode but I still cant get it to apply a check in there.
