Default How to stop Excel from saving a file to a temporary document when.

Everytime I save the changes in the spreadsheet the save process takes a long
time and then this message comes up, "save not completed. File rename failed.
Retry?". Then it just creates a temporary document. How do I prevent it from
happening?
