Default date format

when i enter 3/15/2005, excel displays 1/1/1904
and the cell contains =3/15/2005

how can i make this work so that it shows my real date, which is 3/15/2005

See your other thread. I assume that since that other message you have
changed your settings from the 1900 to the 1904 date system?
