Take out the equals sign.
In that formula you have asked it to divide 9 by 1 and then divide by 2006. That evaluates to about 0.0045, or a time of about 00:06:28 on the first day of Excel's date system. -- David Biddulph "andresg1975" wrote in message ... can someone help me with this: when i enter a date, let's say 09/01/2006 it is display as 00-Jan-00, and the cell contains =09/01/2006 how can i enter it as the date that i want, which is 09/01/2006 thanks a lot for your help |
