Default Since SP2, my pivot tables cannot select various fields

Prior to the installation of SP2 on my computer, I was able to click on one
field in the pivot table and the 'similar' fields would be highlighted (an
easy way to hide unnecessary information). Now this does not work since the
SP2 installation. Any suggestions?

Maybe Enable Selection was turned off.

To enable selection --
From the Pivot toolbar, choose PivotTableSelect
If it's not already activated, click on Enable Selection
