Default Why do some dates turn to ######

I use Excel to post results of training. Some entries need dates when test
was taken, but when I put in date 10/30/06 it appears as ######. How can I
get actual date to appear?

If it's a date, try widening the column or decreasing the size of the font.

Thanks all three of you for the correct answer. Never gave that obvious
answer. I am copying and pasting rows from another report and I guess my
format over road theirs. Thanks again.
