Default Tracking changes in excel

I am trying to track changes that I am making to a workbook. This workbook
has 4 different worksheets. This workbook also has links in it so everytime
I go from one worksheet to the next it updates these links and then shows as
if I made changes to it when I didn't. When i go to tools and track changes
I've tried to choose the "where" but it only allows me to chose one worksheet
to select my criteria. When i try to put multiple sheets in the "where" it
says that my reference is invalid. Anyone have ideas?

Also, is there anyway to track changes like they track in microsoft word?
This would be even better and looks much nicer for what I am doing?
