Default Custom footer settup changes for unknown reason.

I use Excel for my catalog of products my company sells. It has about 60
pages. I name the tab for the page number. I print on both sides of the
paper so my footer has the tab name (page #) on one side, my telephone, fax
and address in the middle and the date in the remaining side. So, for even
pages the page # appears in the left and for odd it appears on the right
side. Some how this gets reversed sometimes and I do not know why?
