Default Excel 2003 - Cell Borders

My spreadsheet has borders around all 4 edges of every cell. In the title row
Ihave auto filter on.

When I filter the data and preview, there is no outer border showing at the
bottom.

How do I do this?

When you have the filter set, go to Edit--Go To--Special--Visible cells only
and then apply the borders.
