Default Spreadsheets print too small on page

My Excel spreadsheets look normal on screen, but print in a box 2 by 4 inches
on the page. Ive set the print area€”didnt help. When I rescale to print
110%, 125%, etc. it prints on several pages. Also tried Fit to 1 Page Wide.
How do I get it to print on the full 8 x 11 page€”or close to it? Thanks.

Checking the Adjust To option and setting to 100% should automatically scale
to the number of pages the active cells require.

I highlighted the cells used, a mere 20 cells down and 12 across, went to
Page Set-up, under Adjust To I set 100% and€”it still prints a box 3.5 x 4.5
inches on a full page. Any other suggestions? This seems to defy logic.
Thanks.

If you only want to print PART of your workbook, then highlight the cells,
choose File Menu, Print and check the box uber Print What that says
Selection. If you always only want to print those cells then highlight, go to
FIle MEnu and choose Print Area and Set Print Area.

Sorry to be dense, but:
I had already tried that--it was a logical solution--and it didn't work. I
tried it again, following youir instructions to the letter and: it still
prints in a box 2 x 4 inches.
Could I have picked up some kind of bug in Exel? It's embarassing to keep
having this simple problem and being unable to solve it.
Thanks for your patience.
