1) I accidentally removed the "file" button (with all its options) from the
top menu bar of Excel. How do I get it back? 2) How do I change the "Home" key button in Excel to move the cursor to the top left of the spreadsheet, instead of to the A column of the same line? |

#1. Tools|Customize|Toolbars tab|select worksheet menu bar|Click Reset

I misread the 2nd question.
I'd use Gary's suggestion of ctrl-home, but you could use: #2. Tools|Options|Transition tab check Transition navigation keys Be aware that other things will change, too (try tabbing across the worksheet) Dave Peterson wrote: #1. 1) - right-click anywhere in the toolbars area at the top of Excel.
