Default Cell Shading

Please see if cell shading is possible with patterns like we can do with the
objects - i.e., fill effects with gradients, texture, patterns, picture.

This will be of great help in creating attractive presentations / documents.

Thanks.

If you have the "drawing toolbar" on your worksheet, try to select a single
cell and then try the shadow button. It worked in mine.

If you don't, go:
View - Toolbars - Drawing
and then try the above.

Shadow is fine... I was looking at an option where you could shade the cells
like you do with objects. Even word tables can be shaded using gradients,
texures, etc. Thats what I am looking out for and not for shadows.

Thanks a ton for responding.
