Default how do i freeze a vertical column & horizontal row in excel?

I am trying to freeze a vertical column and a horizontal row in the one
document...can anyone help?

Hi

click underneath and to the right of what you want to "freeze" (ie if row 1
and column A click in B2)
choose window / freeze panes
