Default Office 2000 Installer Popup?

Hi All,

For some odd reason on one of our pc's the MS Office installer has started
poping up when we try to open an Excel document directly by double clicking
on an excel doc from a directory. Excel won't load after clicking through
the popups. However, if we launch excel from the ..\Microsoft Office\..
directory, then excel loads...but with the same installer popup. However,
this time, if we click/cancel through the popups, then excel stays loaded and
all is fine. Until we close and try to open excel again. This is not trial
ware. And Word, etc load fine. However, like many small businesses, the
original disk is someplace that nobody can find. Can anybody shed some light
on this problem? Thank you very much.
