Default workbook protection alert

How can I make Excel remind me to protect a workbook before I close it?
Several people have read access but I need to edit. I have the workbook
protected but am afraid I won't always remember to put the password back on
after I'm done.

Not sure what you want to protect.

Protecting the worksheet under ToolsProtection will stop users from editing as
will setting the workbook to read-only.

Do you want to place a password to open the file?

If so, this does not have to be re-done each time you save or close the file.

Post back with more detail about what you actually want to protect.
