workbook protection alert
How can I make Excel remind me to protect a workbook before I close it?
Several people have read access but I need to edit. I have the workbook protected but am afraid I won't always remember to put the password back on after I'm done. |

Not sure what you want to protect.
Protecting the worksheet under ToolsProtection will stop users from editing as will setting the workbook to read-only. Do you want to place a password to open the file? If so, this does not have to be re-done each time you save or close the file. Post back with more detail about what you actually want to protect.
