Default how do i show a zero in front of a number ie 0625 in excel

I am trying to enter numbers in excel, and would like to see the 0 in front
of the number ie 0625

Default how do i show a zero in front of a number ie 0625 in excel

If you want numbers to show leading zeros for 4 digits then format the cells
as Custom 0000.

625 will display as 0625
1 will display as 0001

etc.
