Select the area where you want to enter these dates, right click, select
format cells, change to Custom, and in the right hand window, where it says Type: block the default setting and type in dd- MMM and OK out. If you now enter a date as 22/9, it will show as 22- Sep "bentendo" wrote: hi i need to create a list in excel using the date format 21- Sep. everytime i do this it automatically formats this as 09/21/2006 how do i change this? |
