I have an ASCII text file (inlcues extended Ascii) that I am trying to import
into Execl (Office 2003). When I use the Import Wizard, the NULL fields between valid data are omitted. So a file that should have 511 characters imports with only 90 characters. (the rest were randomly spaced Null characters) I there another way to do this? I need this as an automated process. but I did test the ASCII file contents by using copy and paste. I then get nearly all the data ( I get 510 characters instead of all 511 ) I'm not sure why I am missing one character (9) the middile of the string? But that may not be related to the NULL issues. |
