update calendars in Excel?
Is there an easy way to update calendars from one year to the next? I know
there are templates posted for upcoming years, but I would like to be able to update a template for attendance tracking of my employees and the only one posted is for 2005. See Attendance calendar 2005 which is at: Business and Legal Meetings and Projects Agendas and Minutes and is in Excel 2003 format. Thanks for any help. |

Next time, post the URL to the Template. Just copy it from the address bar and paste to your message. Now onto your question. I downloaded this template and see no easy way to alter this particular calendar template for a new year. All days and dates are hard-coded so cells would have to be altered by hand. Wait for next issue which I hope would include 2007 Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Tue, 19 Sep 2006 01:37:01 -0700, MarshaB wrote: Is there an easy way to update calendars from one year to the next? That's what I was afraid of -- no easy way to convert the template to a different year. I kept checking to see if anyone had posted a 2006 version of that template, but they hadn't so now I'm hoping whomever first wrote it might do one for 2007. I'm a novice at working in spreadsheets so I have no clue how to accomplish it. I also didn't understand when you said to "post the URL to the Template". I guess I'm dense!! Marsha |
