Plotting in Charts
I want to use a line graph but I have intermittent points (one point
every 3 months). Having blanks in the missing months causes the points to show up but no lines connecting them. To get around this, I am taking averages for the between months and then the line shows. However, is there a way to say only show the point (ie, the icon it is using on the graph - triangle, diamond, etc.) every 3 points? |

Plotting in Charts
Fill missing data cell with =NA() which shows as #N/A.
Excel ignores these when plotting OR if you have dates for the x-values in the Line chart x-axis specify the units are Months -- Bernard V Liengme www.stfx.ca/people/bliengme remove caps from email wrote in message ups.com...
