Default Turning off merge-warning

Hi
At the VBA end you could try

Application.displayAlerts = False
'do merge code
Application.displayAlerts = True

I'm not sure anything is available at the manual excel end to switch
alerts off.
regards
Paul

I use Merge to, well, merge, but every time it's called
i get a warning that i'm about to merge and hence
loose the values in the rest of the merged cells.

How do i make the warning shut up?
