Default Trace Dependents for range of cells

Hi

I need to trace dependents in a range of cells rather than just one cell,
but it doesn't seem to work. Am I missing something simple? I'm using Excel
2002.

Thanks

Select the range of cells in question and then click the trace dependents
button on the formula auditing toolbar.

Works for me. How are you trying to do this? What happens when you try to
do it?

The trace dependents command works only on the active cell. If doing
several cells at once is important to you you could write a macro that does
it.

Dave

When I select a range of cells only the first cell in the range shows the
arrow. Jim Rech says that it only works on the active cell.
