Default Time Division Question

I'm trying to figure out how to take the total time and then divide it by
60minues.

right now I have a number such as 0:27:20, which is in cell a2, and I want
to be able to divide it by 60. The formula I am using is =a2/time(0,60,0). I
don't know if I'm not getting the right answer. It comes up with 56:00.

Can someone help me.

Thank you

Default Time Division Question

27:20 is 27.33333 minutes, so 27.333 minutes/60 minutes would give you your
answer.

Dave

27.33/60 would get your answer.

Do 0:27:20/24:00:00*24 and you will get .45, which is 27.3/60.
