change background color
I am a new excel user. I will like to change the back ground of several
columns in a spreadsheet if the value of a cell falls below a certain number. Is this possible? I think VBA might be the way to go but I only know how to do this in access. Please help... |

Select the cells you wish to format and then click FORMAT in the menu and
select CONDITIONAL FORMATTING. State your criteria and then click the FORMAT command button to change the backgroup color of the selected cells if the criteria is met. -- Kevin Backmann "chris" wrote: I am a new excel user. No need for VBA. Try Format | Conditional Formatting
