Are there differences between Excel VBA for the Mac and for Windows?

If so, is there a resource out there that delineates these differences? The
reason I'm asking is because a colleague tried to use a macro on his Mac
machine and got errors, whereas the same macro ran without a hitch on my
machine.

Unfortunately, I can't give more details than that because the guy using the
Mac isn't a computer whiz and I was trying to diagnose over the phone. So,
sorry for the lack of detail here, but someone must know something.
