Default XL2000: Error Message: The Picture Is Too Large and Will Be Trunca

When i select an entire row to copy in Excel I'm getting the following error:
"the picture is too large and will be truncated"
There are no pictures in the selection.

Microsoft site has the below.... can anyone explain the fix for this?

SYMPTOMS
When you try to copy a range as a picture, you may receive the following
error message:
The picture is too large and will be truncated.

RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, you can use the hot fix that is described in the
following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
300523 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/300523/EN-US/) PPT2000: Embedded
Excel Worksheets Shrink When You Edit Them
To do this, follow these steps: 1. Contact Microsoft Product Support
Services to obtain the hot fix from article Q300523.
2. Install the hot fix and the two associated registry keys.
3. Copy the range of cells as usual, instead of copying them as a picture.
4. On the Edit menu in the target program, click Paste Special.
5. Click one of the picture options, and then click OK.
