Excel, how to turn off "send to" function when highlighting cells?
How do you turn off the "send to" automatic email function when you mouse

Are these cells with hyperlinks or email addresses in them?
If you right-click in the cell, there is an option to remove the hyperlink. I also think that if you hold CTRL when you click in a cell, that forces Excel to ignore the hyperlink/email address. Finally, if you have many cells with hyperlinks/email addresses there is some code you can add which will automatically remove them all.
