Protect Sheet: clicking in cells removes all previous text
I protected a sheet because I have formulas on the sheet. So, I locked those
cells and left the rest of the cells unlocked. When the sheet is protected, if I click in a cell and try to add text to the cell, it deletes all the previous text. Is there any way to stop that from happening? |

Protect Sheet: clicking in cells removes all previous text
Rather than just clicking in a cell and typing, click in the cell and hit the
F2 key to add text to the end of the data in that cell -- ~Christine, CPA "Kristin" wrote: I protected a sheet because I have formulas on the sheet.
