In Office 2003 I can select from my toolbar Data/Form and get a pop up from
which I can type data and it lays down on my spreadsheet after every enter. In Office 2007 beta version, I don't see that option anymore. Is it going to be included in the new office? Also, I can't format a cell to give me a date option of 9/06 for September, 2006. It wants to change the cell to September 6, 2006. How can I fix this? |

Hello Ron,
Is this site you created made to assist Microsoft in creating Office 2007, or just your own helpful page for others? It's not available in Office 2007. This has to be an oversight! Below is what
I am talking about. I found it on the MSFT site under Tricks and Tip for 2002. There is no way to get it with 2007. What a shame! I was under the impression that you tried and found the solution. Create Forms for Easier Data Entry From Rajesh Chintala, Delhi, India Entering large amounts of data into an Excel spreadsheet can be very time consuming. Using data entry forms makes your task easier. A data entry form is a dialog box that gives you a convenient way to enter a complete row of information at one time. To use a data entry form to edit a list: Click a cell in the labeled row you want to add the record to. On the Data menu, click Form. Click OK. A data entry dialog box appears, with field labels that correspond with the column labels in your list. To add a new record Click New. Type the information for the new record. When you finish typing data, press the ENTER key to add the record. When you finish adding records, click Close to add the new record and close the data form.
